As a family dental practice our schedule has been pretty full over the summer months. As I look ahead at the fall schedule, I am reminded of the need to make marketing efforts now while the schedule is still full to avoid a slow September and October. Many of my pediatric dental patients were in the office over the summer for their dental checkups. Parents often schedule their appointments for that same time which means a significant percentage of patients in my suburban, family friendly dental practice have had appointments over the summer months.
In order to keep the schedule full in the fall, I will need to attract new patients and reach out to overdue patients.
